Resin, yay or nay?

Has anyone ever owned resin plugs? I assume they are basically acrylic. Regardless, they come in 1/2" and I've never seen designed acrylics bigger than 00g. Is anyone else interested in these? I think I'll be ordering some.

( They kind of look like the fimo designed plugs, but safe )
